Lowr Contorl Arms? Wrth it for Autocrossing performance?
Lowr Contorl Arms? Wrth it for Autocrossing performance?
jsut want some input on what you guys think about lower control arms they help you in cornering?
I have been focusing on autoXing recently, but since tiago's recent times i want to look into some stuff that will help me in drag racing also. I know the benefits of better 60's. I jsut want to know the benefits for autocrossing.
For both applications it's either 1LE or rod ends by Spohn. I'm probably going rod ends as lowering brackets didn't help my wheel hop at all. I even got them at the lowest setting on the axle. I'm still on stockers. Man they suck. I need hardcore control arms.
Dom's got it all in his LCA guide. NO POLY FOR RR. You need harder rubber, i.e. the 1LE (from GMPD or SLP -- SLP might be cheaper). Or from a drag racer who is selling his 1le's. Almost all the aftermarket folks will sell theirs with poly -- great with DR, horrible with RR. I'm tempted to do rod ends, so I'llsee what I need by the end of this season.
