I took my car to the track last night and gave it 3 runs and ran it hard. Now it seems like everythings going wrong on it. My altenator died this morning from overheating last night. Spent my very last dollar on it and got it fixed. Right after I fixed that my rotors are shot and I hear this thunk thunk thunk when I drive and especially when I turn right. It looks like the brake is hitting the high edge on the left rotor. If I buy new rotors, i'll probably want to get slotted rotors or something. But whats the cheapest best rotors I could get. I'm looking at to spend just $100 on the front two. Thank You
you might find them a bit cheaper somewhere else with some looking.... not sure I did a quick check with those 2 because I could find the answer quick. oah and I searched on a standard front rotor for a 96 v6 fbody.. I know for 98 and up v6 and v8 have the same brake setup but I am unsure for before then what is what.. this should give you a starting point if nothing else..
