It's 235X.50 = 117.5 (you need to use the 40 or the 50 or the whatever in the tire spec. 235/40 would be 94). And it's just approximate, varies a little from tire to tire.

Thanks for the info V6Bob. One last question I have is will it effect the odometer? Its kinda a dumb question (I think it will) but just want to make sure before I go ahead with the change. Is there anyway to accuratly recalibrate whatever I need to inorder to ge a proper reading speed.1996 Camaro 3.8L A4
*RK Sport Headers, RT High Flow Cat, B&B Tri-Flo Catback w/Quad Tips
*17\" Camaro SS Rims w/Firestone Firehawk SZ50 EP (275/40/17 Front, 285/40/17 Rear)
*SLP Speedometer Recalibrator
*American Sports Car SS Style Hood, Painted Green Disc Calipers and Drum Shells
*Charcoal Leather Interior

Yes, it will affect the odometer the same percentage. I don't know if there is any practical way to adjust it, if someone here doesn't have info you could try a speedometer shop.2000 Firebird convert, chameleon/tan, M5, Y87, TCS, BMR tower brace and panhard, KBDD sfcs, 245/50-16 GSCs
