• Stuck lug nut

I won't go into how it got stuck, thats a loooooong story. But the current situation is I have a lug nut on the ride front that is stuck on the stud. It must have been cross-threaded or something and it isn't coming off. I tried a 600ft-lb impact wrench, didn't budge, tried a 4' long breaker bar, didn't budge. I figure the only think I can do is cut the stupid thing off with a torch or something. I'm pretty sure the wheel stud will be ruined after that, but aren't they pretty easy to replace in the front? Just bang it out with a hammer and bang the new one back in its place? Anyone have the part number for a front wheel stud on a '98 Camaro? Or what about other ways to deal with the stuck lug? Thanks

Take it somewhere with a air gun. Those things can rip anything appart.

Breaker bar works better than an impact, expecially if you have a 600psi one?!?! I have used a 1 inch drive impact on a stuck lug to no avail, but I've gotten every one I have tried off with a 3ft or less breaker bar, and I am a skinny fellow. Pull up on it, not down though. If that doesn't work, take a jack handle off and put it over the breaker bar, you now have a 6-7ft breaker bar. If you can't get it that way, start working out! . Get a rotary cutter.
