I need the big brakes for several reasons 1. I put 18in wheels and tires on the car, it doesn't stop so good now. 2. because the smaller brakes went thru pads like crazy 3. and just because you don't respect a 3.4 doesn't mean that it wouldn't help my performance to have these brakes, I plan on autocrossing when I get all my mods done, I wanna be able to stop. Also I got them on ebay thru ccrotorworks. look in the ebaymotors area under parts and then type in 98 firebird. and there is usually somesbody selling the rotors.

Then you bought knuckles, but did you get the hubs with the ABS sensor?

And 98+ front rotors are 11.9", 12.5" will not fit.

You could have gotten a complete LS1 upgrade kit which has everything you need for about $300 shipped. Rotors, dual piston calipers ect. I'm pretty sure it comes with everything you need. http://store.yahoo.com/speedautomoti...o20ls1frb.html

People here are just trying to help. Let us all know if all the parts fit together easily on your car.

I was going to warn you that your mods are going to put you into one tough class in autocross but held off becaues:

                            1. It didn't seem like autocross was your main thing.

                            2. People around here get dumped on for warning about potential problems.

K, thanks v6bob, in my excitement I misstated the rotor size, it is 11.9 and so are the aftermarket ones I purchased. For those who asked about the antilock sensor and whether it was it was included the answer is yes. I just got new shocks put on 2 weeks ago and asked my mechanic (gm goodwrench) if this kind of swap would be easy, He said it should be as simple as removing the cotter pins and bolts, bleeding the brakes and connecting the abs. So I'm pretty sure I can handle it, if not I'll yell for help.
