• I just bought 1LEs! Great Deal!

Here's what I did for $188.82...

www.lmperformance.com has the 32mm/21mm 1LE kit with poly bushings available for $131... A steal.

Then I ordered some poly endlinks to go along with it from www.thunderracing.com for around $30.

Add shipping and $188.82 is the grand total for a complete swaybar upgrade!!! W00! Now the only thing I need to figure out is what Im going to do with my old ones?!?! What did you guys do with your old ones?

Soo jealous -- I paid $60 (SLP) rear + 1/3 of $11.95 shippin' and $75 (SLP Message Board)shipped front, reused old body bushings (or did I? ... prolly not), and replaced the endlinks with poly. Well, that's about the same as you paid ... guess i'm ok. FWIW, keep your eyes on the message boards and you can find the used ones for cheap.

Does anyone want my old ones?

Dpo any old poly endlinks work? or do they have to be a certqain size made for the 1le setup?

endlinks are endlinks so I hear, but the insulators for each bar vary in size.

I haven't got mine yet, but when I install it I will be sure to post an install guide under my howto section and link it to this board.

The haynes manual is a good thing to use if you really need an install guide, but it looks to be as simple as the following:

1) Put the car on some rhino ramps
2) Locate the swaybars front or rear
3) Disconnect endlinks
4) Disconnect U-straps holding bushings on
5) Remove Swaybar

6) Install new swaybar
7) Connect U-Straps
8) Connect and tighten endlinks, 20ftlbs IIRC is the recommended torque (I'll look it up in haynes again)... Just dont tighten them *** -tight
9) Tighten U-Straps.
10) Go do the other bar

It might take me an hour to do both... Im pretty quick mechanically.

I hope I do, UPS tracking says they are coming tomorrow. maybe i will get up early on tues day and get them in. I am really looking forward to the STB. my car was almost totaled, I think it will be a nice fix/improvemnt on stiffenting up the fornt suspension.

Mustangeater,
So your car was wrecked? My car is a rebuilt title. Bought it that way. The front still isnt fixed right yet, and Im looking around to getting it fixed. The damage was the left front, and it seemed to have shifted the shock tower in about a 1/2 inch. I got the BMR STB and it wouldnt fit. So if ur car was damaged like mine, id measure first and make sure ur STB will fit. Now, Im gonna have to pay thousands just to get it all straightened. :(

If you look under the LS1 listing it offers the complete package. The Separate component numbers match so I think the package must be the same. Haven't got them in the mail yet so I can't be sure.
