The other day I did a complete system bleed, and the brakes work real well imo, but, after I bled the whole system I noticed fluid on the power booster, so i cleaned it off and pumped the brakes some more and there was more (not a lot). So, do i now have to replace this thing right away, I mean could it just all the sudden fail and im SOL or what? I just bled the entire system, so this sucks and there goes another hundred bucks
Thanks Jon

you should NEVER ever push the master cylinder piston all the way into the bore. When you bleed you need to make short strokes and slowly biuld up the pressure. If you go too far IE pumping the brakes and having someone open the bleeder and the pedle going all the way down. When that happens you can cause damadge to the master cyl and it will be no good anymore.
Well, damn, ive never heard not to put the pedal all the way in. The brakes feel fine, after the rear disc install they seem better than ever before. I also just cleaned it all off real good and dry, drove around awhile and its all still dry. I'll keep my eye on it.
Thanks for the replies, Jon
