I need to get new tires soon. I do occasionally go to the strip, but for the most part just drive on the street. I need to know the best tire for my car. I'm getting a 245/50 size(if my memory serves me correct I should be able to go to that tire without having to recalibrate the speedo). I'm looking for the best all around tire right now.. Down the road drag radials will be in the picture until then I'll stick with regular street tires.

kumho's are great tires for the amount of money u spend on them. I have 255-50-ZR16's, and they're the same ride height as stock, just an inch wider. very good, but they do like to wander a lot(follow the road). if u don't mind a little of that, then I say get the 255-50's.

Thats what i have...the kumo ecsta 712's. Ive only practiced a launch on them once (to save em.)
Didnt burn out...just launched around 2500 or so. The held pretty good, still spun of course, but grabbed pretty descent. They do track ALOT. But there a really quiet tire from what ive expierenced. Got my whole set from tirerack.com for $412.oo i believe it was.
