  • New brakes installed...still noise?

About a month ago I had the rear drums machined and new pads installed. Didn't notice any difference since the front pads were glazed and front rotors warped. No noises though.

About two weeks ago I remember my brakes were grabbing really hard, like I had new brakes all around. Next day it was back to normal but now I hear a noise, both when I press the brake and release it. It is only momentary and I only notice it at low speeds like coming to a stop sign. Really short noise...almost sounds like a quiet blow-off valve. (No, I don't have a turbo either ;) ) Also has sort of a weird noise sometimes too...sounds like a jack in the box winding up when I pull into the garage real slow.
It will go steady as I pull in and slower as the car slows down.

I thought maybe it was the front pads but I changed those to ceramics with new Brembo rotors. Car stops very well now...but I still have the noise. I plan to take it back to the shop when I have the time.

    Any ideas guys? Thanks!
