Two weeks ago i make a trip from tx to ny. well the last 200+ miles of the trip i started to notice this coming from both my back wheels/brakes/rotors/whatever. It was constant whether is was accerating or just coasting and the noise didnt change at all when i would brake. The faster my car travels the more noticable the noise. Well i thought it might be my brake pads so i changed them and noticed that my inside pad was only about an 1/8" thick, while my out side pad was at least 3/8" thick if not thicker, they almost looked new. And my car only has 30,000 miles on it. My brakes dont feel like theyre binding. I think that my e-brake is sticking even though the handles all the way down. Let me know what you think guys, thanks.

If the pads are wearing unevenly, the caliper isn't sliding. Pull the pins and clean and lube them. It probably means the pad is rubbing the disc. As long as it's not really dragging on it, it's not a problem.
