I was on the line with SHOX.COM, they said Bilstein only offers one kind of shock/strut for my car. Does anyone have any input on this, and also are there any springs I can buy, that WILL NOT lower my car???

They want 319 for the bilstein's and springs would obviously be more, but is there a better place to buy a whole set up???

Yes, Bilstien only has one setof shocks for the fourth gen. However, the third gen rears will also work on the fourth gen.
As to springs, what year car do you have? If it's a 93-97, then you can install stock springs from a 98+ V6 if you don't want to go too stiff, or you can use V8 springs up front. If you want those, e-mail me, I have a set (both the 98+ V6 and V8 fronts, with the 98+ rears). Otherwise, anything you else will drop the car. Check www.bimmerparts.com, but you will need to dig up the part numbers for the shocks.

Hey guys and gals, thanks for the info. I will be orderingthe Bilsteins very shortly, but I still am so confused though lol, only because I have the W68 option, and I want springs that are better than OEM, BUT am not to thrilled on lowering my car 'cuz of scraping etc. (although it would look so sweeeet).

Any suggestions woul dhelp me a ton, thanks guys and gals.

          I need more advice :(

I am almost ready to purchase everything, Not to sure on where to buy these though.
          Bilstein HD's
          1LE Springs

I am still confused on springs though, I have decided on 1LE springs, but I have a couple concerns, I heard it does not drop the car but actually may raise it a lil bit, and next I was told by SLP that the 1LE springs are from the SS or Firehawk, but in essence are no different than the stock Z28 springs???

How can this be true, if in that link a couple of replies before mine, it clearly shows the different lbs/in between my OEM V6 springs, OEM V8 springs, and the 1LE springs???????

I would like the 98+ springs if they are available. I would like to get a firmer suspension for my 'vert. The 94 springs are a little soft with the extra weight.

V8 springs will raise the front a little bit, because you don't have a heavy V8 ;)

You can get the Bilstein's from Sam Strano.
