    What do you mean by 3-point? I have the standard BMR STB with 3 screws/nuts on each side, no SFC. Just don't know what 3-point/2-point is.

      i belive it's 3 points connecting to the car, like one on the LEFT tower, one on the RIGHT tower and i believe one on the CENTER piece?...

      not to sure, but it's what i was understanding out of what info i had...

              It makes it easier to remove the STB to check the ATF, but its not required if you pull hard enough on the ATF stick.

              I always removed mine though, too easy not to.

                Thanks, Dominic.

                I'm just envisioning me standing over my car holding the handle of the ATF dipstick and the rest of the dipstick still down in the filler tube.

                I think I'll take the STB off when i check the ATF.
                I solemnly swear I am up to no good.

                  Remember kids: 32 ft/lbs is the torque spec for the nuts you need to tighten!
