anyone know of RPO code for 1le, ot if they came in 97 30th anniversary SS's?

Bascially found a guy, that is pretty sure his stock stuff is 1LE, I am jsut checking on it, he says he knows its bettr then stock. I know the front is 32mm on 1LE.

I have a set of sway bars of my SS. I believe they are they 1LE which is 35mm and 21mm?? dont hold me to that, i just know is more then a reg z28. I will take some pictures of me messuring them if you want for proof.

The RPO code for 1LE would be 1LE right?

Yes "1LE" is an RPO Code for the factory "Autocross" package. It will be on the Service Identification label on the drivers door, or in the IP glove box.

not all years of production had the 1LE package available, for example the 98 and 2000 production years had no 1LE's produced, but I am pretty sure the 97 production year did. What I wonder is why would a guy replace his 35mm sway bar with a 32mm sway bar? I could see replacing the bushings, but...well it is his car. As I always say do your home work before you do the deal.

Actually, they had the 1LE option in '98. I have a friend who has a Z28 w/the 1LE code. They made right around 100 of them ;)

Not in '00. In '01, yes, the 1LE option was restarted and was available through SLP.
