• Need help with suspension ! ! ! PLEASE HELP

I have a 3.8L V6 2000 Camaro with Eibach lowering springs and that's it. I also have 18x9.5 Z06 wheels and when I'm on the street or track when I launch I have BAD wheel hop from the right rear and barely any traction. Also when I hit second gear the right rear SLAMS into the space jouncer. What causes this and how can I fix this? Also what other mods. would be good for suspension upgrade for this vehicle?

Upgrade the shocks, which should be done when lowering springs are installed. Because of the less amount of travel, the shocks must be valved different to maintain control of the spring.

Install limited-slip carrier so you don't spin just one wheel.

Replace rear lower-control arms with harder bushings to help control wheel hop.

Thank you. Anything else that I could do to get a little bit better ride, and get better traction?

yeah, get rid of your lowering springs. That kills your weight transfer and messes your genter of gravity and suspention geometry. if you must stay lowered I would sugest

LCA's
LCA relocation brakets
Adjustable Panhard
Adjustable TQ arm
Different shocks to compliment the lowering.

Or you could return yourself to the stock right height

Depending how much you really like your car, I can't imagine why you wouldnt lower it. After seeing what mine looks like now since it's lowered and looking at camaros with stock ride height, I think stock ride height just look goofy.

it's a give take situation tho. you either have looks or perforance. You can't have a lowered car and great traction.

Get some after market LCA's (lower control arms) that will fix your wheel hop problem.

How old is the car and how many miles are on it? have you ever replaced your shocks?

Well, my suggestion is to get a shock that will complement the springs.

Aftermarket LCA's will kill your wheel hop problem.
