  • I love chirstmas ...

Well I treated my self nicely over the break. Added a few things. I ordered a red anodized aluminum shift knob, 17 X 9.5 silver Z06 rims with nittos and a T/A rear end with 3.73's. Got pretty much everything on but i have a slight problem. ABS light seems to be on all the time.

Has anyone ever swapped the rear and after bleeding the brakes had this problem? I bleed the brakes but I guess I need to do it alot more. *shrug* not sure.

I changed my rear from drum to disk, but I haven't had any problems with it...as of yet. I flushed the whole brake fluid system when I exchanged the rears, and it seems to be working fine. Hopefully I won't get jinx'ed now.

You are very welcome Sam. :D Hope you enjoy them as much as I did. I still cant beleive they are gone but hey I got new ones.

As for flushing the brake lines, do you just keep on and keep on bleeding for a while or is there a better way to flush the system?

vrwhp is the way to go!

my white faced gauges and shift knob only gave me like 10 combined, but hey, every little bit helps.

andy, you had to convert your rear drums to disks, you can't just plug in those things and expect them to work. heh, talk with someone who knows more about it and they'll let ya know how to do it.
