  • Finished my install!

Just finished puttin on my shocks/springs.
I got Bilstein HD's and Hotchkis springs...GREAT combo. I love the way they came out.
It rides noticeably rougher, but it's well worth the look.

The ride will get better. Just give them time to settle in....that's the way my Eibach/ Bilstein combo was when I first had them on.

The look? Notice any difference in handling?

I would like to upgrade to the Bilstein's myself someday.

        </font>[/QUOTE]Yes the look...being lower...well worth it.
I definatley notice a difference in handling. I should have put these on a long time ago.
And I'm not worried about the ride getting better...I acctually like how it rides more now. I was just saying its a bit rougher.

Bad *** shawn! I will have to see it at the halloween party. Was it one inch drop? Also, was it not too expensive? I am SERIOSULY looking for some shocks for my car. I am starting to really notice the rough ride, and sub-par handling? I was thinking about KYB AGX, but I dont know, I might look at yours. ;)

It got a little lower than an inch.
I got the shocks from Thunder for about 300 when they were having some sort of sale.
Night and day difference Jordan...you should get some.

Don't you scratch on alot of stuff now seeing that you are lowered on stock rims, or do you have bigger rims?

That's what everyone keeps saying. And it makes me want them even more. :(

I haven't scratched my car on anything since I've put it on AND I have the factory body-kit...you just have to learn what you can and can't do in your car.
And I have stock wheels right now (putting on TT2's within a week hopefully) but I don't see what point you're making. The height is still the same for the wheel and tire, is it not?

Nice. I am deciding between eibach and the hotchkiss springs and definately using the Bilstein HD's. I was kind of leaning toward the hotchkiss side, this migh decide it. You have any/ plan on getting pics?

No, if you go with 18s it all depends on what size side wall you are using, you don't HAVE to use a smaller side wall. So if you use the same size one on a 18, it will be bigger.
