from other posts ive read its bad to mix and match brands or suspension upgrades, and some changes can actually hurt your handling if not considered properly, though I cant find any suggestions on what order to do this in. I want to start upgrading components piece by piece... using bmr components mainly and bilstein shocks. what would be my first suspension/ handling mod, and what sequence should i go in?

It depends what ur looking for out of the car. for a drag car, BMR is great. for a street/road racing car, 1LE parts from SLP is great, for auto x/serious road racing, I'm looking at a mix of parts.
A good idea is to start stiffening the chassis. even the stock suspension works better if it has a stiff chassis to work against. maybe u should start there, and see what u wanna do after that. My modding "philosophy" is, fix the part of the car that annoys u the most.2001 Arctic White Firebird<br />More mods than I\'m allowed to list!
