  • squeaky rearend.. need help..

    this is really starting to get to me. everytime i hit the slightest bump in the road my left rearend my all kinds of squeaking sounds. i hate it so much. i want to get rid of my car cause of this.. anyone have any ideas on what this can be. i checked everything.
    could it be my bmr LAC'S with the poly bushing..

    Try re-torque'ng the LCA's. Suppositly too tight = sqweek too loose = thud

      ok i'll give this a shot. i'm also gonig to re-torque my sway bars.
      could my rear shocks be cause this noise

        hmm... I guess if they are shot them its possible. You can get take-off decarbons for like 25-30 bucks. So would be something to try.

            i don't think it's the rear hatch, cause i had a friend sit in the back and he said that the sound is coming from under the car..

              poly bushings are notorious for squeaking... that's why some come with grease fittings..

                I think it is your shocks. I had same prob w/ different car, it squeaked every time I hit even the smallest bump. I think this happens when the fluid leaks out of old shocks. Replaced shocks, no squeaks since.

                  yea i'm going to replace the shocks and re-torque the LCA's. i need a smoother suspension anyway..
