  • BMR strut tower brace

    finally got it in, but had a little problem, the tanny dip stick is in the way, and i can't get it in all the way, can i bend the tub a little up or down without damaging anything?

    The tranny dipstick is in the way? Can you take pictures? Which side is it on? The only thing I had to move was a metal bracket attached to an AC (?) line so that I could bolt up the bar.

      I've never heard of this, anybody else have this problem?

        mine fits, a little tight, but you can do it, just when you need to pull the stick you have to push it p a bit above the STB... not a big problem.

            I'll try to take pictures when i get home tonight, i thought this was a bit wierd, the dip stick is on the passenger side almost right about the oil fill cap.

              Is the tranny dipstick tube in the way of the STB of the STB in the way of the dipstick. I cant get my tranny dipstick out very well with the STB in place. The STB is easy to take off though, maybe a max of 10 mins. I just take it off to check and or change the fluid in the tranny. But if its the tube in the way of the STB then I have never heard of that.
