I have a squeak that only happens when I make left turns. It is coming from the back. When I turn right or go over bumps it is fine, just left turns. Any ideas what this would be? sway bar, lca, or something in the rear?

I have a strong feeling it's your breakpads. I had the same thing in the front (I have drums in the back :( ). Anyway, when I turned left, I heard a squeek. When I changed the pads on the right tire, the rear pad was metal to metal! The piece of **** was tearing into my rotor!\'96 M5 Camaro White
Flowmaster Full Catback
SLP CAI
180* Thermo

Stereo: H/U - Clarion DXZ725
Alipne Type-R 6.5 Components (front),
Alpine Alpine SPS-1629S 6.5
2 10\" JL 10w0

\"One Love\" -Bob Marley

Is it a high pitched squeal? I agree with checking the pads, they might be starting to eat away at your rotor.97 White Pontiac Firebird 3.8 A4
Mods- 2.75\" exhaust, Dynomax muffler, magnaflow cat, SLP CAI, Hypertech 160* thermo, Fan switch
Suspension-Kumho Ecsta 712\'s, 32mm/19mm sway bars

Our Lady of Blessed Acceleration, don\'t fail us now.
-Elwood Blues

kind of, and it sounds like it only happens when the wheel comes around, like a certain point when the wheel is rotating that it does it

I know it seems kind of obvious...but make sure all your lugs are tightened down. If one or two are loose the wheel is going to squeek when it rotates and alot of times only in a certain direction when you're turning.
The SAME thing happened to me like a week ago after I put my shocks on. Apparently one lug wasnt tightened down and it would squeek around left turns.
Just something to check.Shawn
2002 Silver W68 Firebird

Re: squeak around left turns
im resurrecting this since i have the same problem, and i have for a while. i have replaced the front pads, but not the rear. like you say, its only at a certain point going around left turns, and i have to be going at speed. a cloverleaf style onramp (steady left turn) is a perfect example. it is a very high pitched and annoying problem. i was wondering if you or anyone else figured out the problem?
i have disks in back (self installed) but the pads still seem to have plenty of life. doesnt seem like it wouldnt be the differential. i was previously having problems with the diff, but i added some posi additive and that problem seemed to go away. this seems like something different. id love to have it worked out.
