on my 98 v6 the right rear side sits lower than the rest of the car. i was told it was a bad spring. so i decided to put lowering springs on the car. will a small drop leave enough clearance because i have ground effects. what will it do to ride quality?

your car will still sit like that after you lower it. most f-bodies sit a little higher on the driver side rear. mine has the same problem. i even clamped 2 coils together on the spring and it didn't help any.

what about clearance. will there be enough clearance with 1-1.5 drop on a car with ground effects?

It'll work. Just make sure you go up steep driveways at a slant to be safe.
