I know that a 14-STB001 BMR STB doesn't fit on 3.8 but does it fit a 3.4 ?

I've ordered a STB002 and received a STB001
which doesn't fit my friend's 3.8.
I met a guy with a 3.4 on a forum, which want to buy it from me.
I want to be sure that he can install it

Why not ask BMR? I'm sure there's a reason however they make one STB for the LT1/LS1 and one STB for the 3.4/3.8 and more than likely it has to do with clearance or fitment issues. well here is the answer in my 3.8, the alternator is between the 2 fix points of the Brace
have you got a pic of a 3.4 engine?

I could see a problem clearing the throttle body and cable housing. How high off the strut tower does that STB come up?

Appears it can be made to fit by spacing the brace up with some washers and maybe cutting or moving the throttle cable cover slightly.
