  • Lowering, 1.2" in the front 1.7" in the rear

I am looking at getting the Suspension Techniques Lowering Springs.., 1.2" in the front 1.7" in the rear...

I am wondering if the difference in the drop heights is an OK to do, I know my car from factory is taller in the back.

Do I really need to replace my factory shocks?? I was quoted an insane ammount to have those replaced and do not really want to do that....

I just left the factory shocks on mine. I went with the Eibach springs, 1 1/2" drop. No problems, after over a year with them on.
As far as price. Install price should be almost the same I'd think, because the front strut has to come out to replace the spring, and the rear shocks look rather simple to remove. So I'd think the only major difference in price would be the cost of the shocks.
With the height difference, After I lowered mine there was probably about a half inch difference in height still, but after I installed subs in the back, it's about even.

if you don't want to replace all your shocks, i would at least do the fronts while they have it all apart. the backs you might be able to do yourself at a later time. i got slp take-offs for mine and they seem to hold up pretty well. its been almost 2 years since i re-did my springs w/ take-offs and its still fairly stiff.

Sus Techniques are far too stiff... 600# in the front and 140+ in the rear... Please do not run these, especially with stock shocks!!
