  • I need help purchasing new rims........

I need help with purchasing new rims. I got a 1994 Chevy Camaro. The current stock wheel specs are 16 x 8, 6.875 back spacing and a 5 / 4.75 bolt pattern. I found wheels I like, but the back spacing is a little lower. The wheels say they fit my car, but the back spacing is 6 1/8. What exactly is back spacing? Will this look good/normal? The wheels I'm looking at are located here: http://www.wheelsforless.com/search...uct_ID=ea779-68

Back spacing is going to determine how far in or out the wheel is going to be in the wheel well. How many miles do you have on your car?? I got a 99 and I don't think it's worth it to get rims or anything expensive anymore.

Its a 1994 with like 90,000 miles on it. I'm 17 so i just wanted to make the car look nicer with new rims. I'm only going to spend like $500.

you can get the eagle alloy 77's on ebay for $390 for a set of 4(new). Under purchase now from some company that puts them out there a lot. I almost bought them, but 17x8 aren't wide enough for road racing. So i ended up buying some nice ZR-1's 17x9.5 off ebay(new) and i won the bid real low suprisingly at $431.

                  heres the link. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...tem=2451708239

EBAY is awesome. The guy that always has those is AFS somethingorother............anyway, here's my thing. I bought a pair of really nice 245/45/ZR17 tires on EBAY because they were such a good deal. I knew I was going to be buying new wheels so they now need to fit this tire size. What 17x?. Any help please.............

If you bought 245/45/17 you are only going to want a 17x8. 17x9 or 17x9.5 might be too wide of a wheel for the tire.
