hey guys,

ok, i don't know the exact name for this part but I totally bent it and my steering jacked. It's the threaded bar that extends from the steering rack(?) and connects to the tie-rod end. That steel bar is bent. I now have to get two new front tires plus that part -- oh and I got a speeding ticket. It's going to be an expensive month. How much am I looking at too?

It all depends on where you get the part.. it shuld not be that bad.. probably less then the tires..

Check your Haynes manual (you do have a Haynes manual, don't you )

I'll look it up in mine later, but I have to go to work now.

yeah I looked at my haynes book. It only explained how to remove the tie-rod END --- not the rod itself. Although, my haynes book is for the 93-97 (from when I had my 93 bird). Anyone else w/suggestions?
