well, got the pacesetters in, and boy do they sing....
but, driving home from the shop, i noticed i have some play in the steering wheel....
its more then a little, and it needs to be fixed..
possible causes of this problem?
cheap solution?

I have this problem too, I have a good 1.5-ish inches of play. Hasn't been critical to fix yet but its annoying as all heck. This might be one of those post-AIS repairs.
eh.... that didnt help much, only saying i should get new parts...
the knuckle that changes the angle to go into the steering box is where its loose, its only one bolt. it slides up and down, ill see what i can do this weekend about it(high five for 60 degree weather finally). if thats your problem, i can post pics of my fix.

fbc, they loosened the knuckle bolt and i can slide it up and down with my hand...
didnt get to fix it today, but the plan is to use 2 bolts, and washers welded together to make an oval.
