How much is a rear disc brake assembly worth

I saw a add for rear disc brakes from a 98 camaro that i want to put on my 97 firebird. How much are they worth with decent pads, and without any pads. And,, what will i need to do the conversion. Please give me an idea how much this will cost, the guy told me to make him an offer and i have no clue how much they are worth, so i am relying on you guys.

like a 800 for the whole rear assembly....
they go for like 1200 brand new

For 2 calipers, and stock discs??? 800??? isn't that a lot??? What else do you need for the conversion?

To start with, the 98 and later rear discs are different from the 93-97. I bought my rear disc "kit" for $250 and is a direct bolt-on with some addional new factory parts.
