  • lowering the Bird

    does anyone know if putting the lowering springs on our cars would void the warranty? i want to lower the car but i dont want to void the warranty since well i paid for it and i need new rotors...for the 4th time cuz they keep warping....anyone know?

    it would for sure void warrany on all suspension, but I don't think it'd void the brakes. i know whatcha mean though. save up ur cash and buy a whole enw brake setup, cuz the stock setup is crap.

      It will likely void the spring/shock/bushing warranty yes - unless you have a cool dealer.

      Talk to eibach if you're really concerned.

      It will not void the entire vehicle warranty.

        I was going to save up my money so that when the warranty ends i will be able to just buy a whole new brake setup, until then ill keep making the dealer give me new rotors, the new, crappy rotors. Thanks for all your help guys

          Be sure the wheels are put on with a torque wrench at 100ftlbs. I have owned a 2000 and my current 02, both have never warped rotors in their life.

          Also, if they keep warping, and you have a record of it, and it never gets "fixed", they are legally required to keep fixing it until its solved even after the warranty.

          Springs will not affect brake warranty.
