Removing sturts from the mounting support is a ***** I had to cut both of the stock struts and I had to drill out one of the nuts b/c I was basicly gone from all the rust and crap over the years!!! Struts suck!

Same here when I did the koni's and eibach's.

I was advised to gob a bunch of anti-seize on there to help prevent it from happening again.

(I also went out on my own and drilled a little drainage hole in the rubber mount to let water get out of there too...) Because it splashes up in there, but then can't get out.

There is one thing that will help make the installation a little easier...

When you unbolt everything and you are trying to finagle the shock/spring unbolt and remove the endlink from the sway bar on the side you are working on. This will allow you to lower the lower control arm enough to move the assembly around a little more.

ewwww.. yeah been there f-ed that up.. that passenger side mount has a tendency to rust up..

Ya the sway bar is off right now b/c I'm swapping it at the same time. Adavance Auto told me the mounts were $81 a piece. I got them both off somewhat in one piece so I'm going to do what John D said so this doesn't happen again.
