  • Questions on coilovers

    I have decided then hopefully soon I'll get the Ground Control Coilovers. Is it better to get adjustable shocks, non-adjustable, or just keep the stock shocks? Also, how much am I looking at for installation of these? I'm to lazy and un-talented to do it myself.

    for complete adjustability, get the adj. shocks, if you don't need the adjustability and want a frimer ride, get whatever shocks you want, if you're short on cash, the stock ones will be just fine. the coil-overs use an adj. spring pertch so that it doesn't affect shock travel or ride comfort, and comes w/ new springs. it's a good investment if you want an adj. ride height.

      Thanks, another question though. If I get non-adjustable shocks will they wear out quicker than adjustable ones?

        adjustable vs non adjustable will not affect life of your shocks. The Bilsteins work well with these and are a good balance for the price. Konis are nice but are $699. Depends on what you want really and your budget since the GCs are $399.
