    A520's are an awesome tire. Ihad some on an Isuzu Ext. Cab i used to have...they stick like crazy!!! One caveat of theirs is treadlife...it isn't much. If you get 20k out of them you are doing good. Definately one of the best handling tires out there.

    the avid series of yokohama tires is excellent. they handle extremely well, especially on wet pavement. rated as good or better than michelins on tirerack. don't get me wrong, i have always loved michelin tires, but the yokos i have are awesome...

      Hey Nikon, tell me about it with our government, all of canada's government is screwed up. I wish that every country could all just have the same currency. you should be happy if you come to Canada, when you go change your money in to convert to canadian you get like twice as much, but still, everything up here is more expensive.
      Later man. ;)

        Hey, if you guys need assistance with tires, I ran a tire shop for like 10 years. I took a LOT of training classes. Personally, I like H rated tires on my car. They look just as good as Z rated and they last twice as long on average. Z rated tires are higher performance tires than H rated, but the ratings are for speeds that I will never be hitting in this car.
        H = extended periods of 130mph driving.
        Z = extended peroids of 150mph+ driving.
        See where I'm going here. When I got my car it had Goodyear Eagle GAs on it. I'm not a big fan of Goodyear, I don't even buy their belts and hoses. I immediately sold them ($100 a piece used!) and picked up some Kelly Super Sport Hs. These things were awesome! The gripped like crazy and lasted me 47k miles. The next set were Falken Ziex H rated. These are even better than the Kellys. I'm at about 20k miles on these now and a rotation hasn't even been necessary until now. There's some really good stuff out there if you do your homework.

              i got some 275/40 17 yokohama avs db's on my camaro, before i got the zex kit it was basically impossible to break them loose, unless you were specifically trying to, at first i thought they hurt my car because of the size (weight), but now with the zex, i do about a 10foot burnout, i can only imagine what those crappy goodyear eagles wouldve done, oh, and the treadwear is 20 higher on the yoke's they are wearing extremely well, i would reccoment them to anyone.

                i say to get a pair of bridgestone potenza re730s if you are looking for a relative cheap performance tire. I run them on the front (315 nittos on back) and they handle great. I ran them on all 4 corners at a road course and did very well with them (considering they are a street tire) and they have excellent wet handling properties.
