when i bought my car it had been lowered (haven't actually looked under hte car but side by side my car is lower than a regular bird). anyways, last year i bought the rims and tires off of a trans am off of ebay. i had 16's and these were 17's. i just recently noticed htat sometimes when i floor it from a stop, the car starts bouncing from the back, like it sounds like the tire is hitting hte body or something and the back of the car will bounce and hit for like 2 seconds. possibly time for new springs? or should i higher the car like a regular bird?

Time for some LCAs. www.bmrfabrication.com
You are experencing 'wheel-hop' which is common with bigger wheels, and LCAs will help minimize this.

Actually, more important then LCA's, you probably need LCA relocation brakets. BMR sells some nice bolt in and weld in ones. They'll relocate the mounting point on the axle further down to even out the LCA's so they're at the same position as stock.

But stock LCA's suck.....I had to replace mine on my completely stock car because the wheel hop was so bad.98 Bright Red Camaro
Too many mods to list....check my website

nope your going to need the LCA relocation, brackets! I was having the same problems w/ Mara after i lowered her. I installed some LCA relocatoin bracket that i got for texas speed(thanks matt) and it fixed everything, although i could still use some new LCAs. Check out my site, i got pix from when i installed them on my car!_davjos81- 02 v6
www.cardomain.com/id/davjos81
http://community.webshots.com/user/davjos81

-over $8,000 invested!
