• 255/50/r16's...

These, when compared to the bald 235/55s that were on my car only a few hours ago, RULE!!!

i have no experience with suspension mods traditionally, but i no longer feel the need to slow down going into corners! HIGHLY recommend these to anyone, i got them for $107 apiece cuz i'm a badass and they are federales, noname brand, but i really don't have preference with tires. i can't peel out unless i'm turning now and then it's barely, so it's really handy for racing or merging because i used to leave 300ft black marks on the road which was fun, but i was sick of it.

just my $.02, these babies ROCK! AND they look cool.

Interesting...I was thinking of getting new tires but thought 245 was the most I could pack onto the stock rims. I thought I heard people complaining about 255's or osmething. So theirs no spacing problems or anything? If you like em so much I'll have to pick me up some :D

no there is no problems, i havee 255/50/16's on mine and they're pretty good, decent straight line traction, awesome cornering(compared to stockers), and they look good...

Firehawk 255/50ZR/16s. They look nice and fat on the car, totally mean My dry and wet traction improved tremendously over the gay Goodyear Eagles. Oh and the tread looks really tight as well, gotta love that V traction line!

federales? like chicano slang for "cops"?

yeah, what a difference some tires make though... i got in a bind this summer and had to put sears tires on my car, and boy did they ever hold up! soft, too... maybe a little too soft because until i got used to them, they felt like marshmallow tires!

i now swear by tire rack... good prices, reasonable and fast shipping, and most tire shops charge like, $10 a wheel to mount and balance

Tirerack will tell you 255 is too big, but don't listen to them, cuz it fits just fine. In fact I did appreciate that they called me before sending the tires asking if I was sure I wanted 255s! Great customer service from those guys. But ya, 255s will over hang your rim slightly which is exactly what I wanted because its a curb guard for your rims when you parallel park!
