    i have a 99 pontiac firebird, and when i brake, they squeak. How do i get rid of this?

    one way, and this usually works best when you put the pads on at first, is to take a file and taper the front part of the pad down on an angle, like a 45 degree one or so. dont take too much off the pad, but this helps a lot.

      did you oil the back of the pad where it touches the piston? most pads come with a tiny tube of oil. if you don't do that, they'll squeak like a mofo.
