  • Lowering Car...

How far should I lower it if I want to still drive it daily? I'm thinking not too far, but I want it for appearance and maybe even performance...

most springs only lower from 1 - 2 inches. you are talking about springs right?

So would lowering it an inch help me any? And are the springs expensive?

In other words, what would lowering it an inch do for me performance-wise...?

It will lower your center of gravity, which increases the resistance to roll side to side. I don't know all the theories behind it (so feel free to chime in if you do), but it works.

Eibach Prokit springs would probably be good for you, and you should be able to pick them up from a site sponsor for between $200 and $300. Or you can search for a used set...

i have prokits and bilstein hd's on my car and i almost all of my driving is round the city that i live in. The roads are awful and full of holes yet the ride is bearable. It by no means rides like some suv or luxary car, but its not overly harsh and unpleasant. the only thing with my prokits is that i cant go over any larger speed bumps. but thats bout it. they def. improved my handling so i think the trade off is worth it.
