I ordered 2 17*9.5 and 2 18*10.5 zo6 rivet wheels from thunder racing... What'll sit well on these wheels and not be any heavier than they have 2 be? Any personal opinions on performance tires from personal experience? I was think'n p245's on the front and p275's on the back... but I really don't know much about it at all... help would be appreciated.

It says I'm gonna have 2 beat out my inner fender to make the back wheels fit... that sounds kinda serious~should I cancel or is it not that big a deal? I also have the wings west body kit on so I have even less clearance... think I should just go with all 17's?

I think you would need 285 because of how wide the rim is. if you can get a rim with a little less width it sould work fine. no need to go to 17's if you want 18's95 Firebird
http://www.cardomain.com/memberpage/673250
http://photobucket.com/albums/y217/andrewbrandon19/

me on a good day------> linky

I recently got 18x9.5 all the way around with BFG GForce KD's. This combo looks awesome and I absolutely love the BFG's. They are 265/35/18's. I measured them, and they are an 11" tire. I wouldn't go bangin my wheel wells out for anything... why damage the car. I'm surprised Thunder Racing didn't give you some tech help on this.2004 CE Corvette 10.86@132mph

their 58mm offset... that's y they say I need 2 do the mod~I think I'm just gonna get all 17's... I guess it'll look okay... be lighter neway... :( Damn wheels already shipped out so now I gotta wait till they get here, send them back, have them proccess it, and then get my other 2 17's sent here... that should be good for sett'n me back about 2-3 weeks...sweet deal.

refuse the packages when they arrive..just tell UPS (or whoever) that you refuse them and want them sent back..that way you dont get charged for shipping..they just go back..if you accept them..and then want to ship them back..you'll have to pay..i would notify the people you bought them from that you found out AFTER you bought the wheels that you'd need to modify the car..that you plan to buy a different set from them..and that is your reason for doing this12 SECOND DUAL STAGE DRY NITROUS POWERED 98 A4 V6 CAMARO
www.MySickCamaro.50megs.com
Best ET: 12.82@103
Best MPH: 104.7
Best 60\': 1.75 - Stock TC

quote:
Originally posted by Shodown:
1DV6 runs 12\'s...enough said.
