  • How hard is it to install rear shocks?

    Title really states it all...

I bought some Sentrac's for my RS and was wondering how hard would it be to install these shocks? What would I have to do?

Simple, you don't even have to jack up the car. Take the rear plastics off and pull the carpet back some so you can get to the top bolts. Then unbolt the bottom one. Reinstall, you won't have a problem.

i did it a few months back, very easy, do what little g said but i would just jack the car up so your whole a$$ is up, take the shocks out, and make sure that you put a jack on your axel and jack that up so that you can get the shocks back on, bolt everything up, and then let the axel down. and lower your car and bammmm your done. good luck

The carpet has little area pre-made for cutting out exactly where the tops of the shocks are. The padding underneath is pre-cut also. You push the carpet back in place after doing the work - a perfect fit.
I solemnly swear I am up to no good.
