Question about 97 camaro rims on a 93 camaro.

Since my 93 camaro has drums in the back I heard you have to grind the rim or something to make a 97's rims fit on a 93. I was wanting some more information on this if anyone had any input or no how on this topic.

if ur talking about the 5 star, 16" wheels, then its a plug and play, i have a 97, and they have drums also, so u'll be fine (chick my cardomain to double check that we're talking about the same wheels)

I have 97 wheels from RS on my 95 with drums and i had to grind 2 back wheels a little in the center, but its not big deal at all, you could prob. do it with sand paper if you try hard enough. The only downside is that i dont think you can rotate tires.

Thats them, out of all the 16 inch rims that are on the camaros these are my fav. Your car is pimp i like the 93-97 front with your rims and the newer tail lights. [img]graemlins/naughty.gif[/img]

It's the 98+ rims that have to be slightly grinded in the center hub in order to fit the 93-97's.
