Can the rear brakes from a 98 rearend be stuck on a 95 rear? I have 95 rear (stock) and I have a 98 Y87 rear I was planning to install. We open it up and the gears are jacked to hell. So, I figured trying to take out the gears and diff out of my would be a pain with trying to backlash it. Since my gears are 3.23 and the ones in the new one are 3.42 its not a big improvement we would just swap brakes. I just want to know if it can be done and if there are any altercations that need to be done?
