  • Lowering spring question

Can someone tell me if Apex lowering springs for 93 and up Camaro will work on either a V6 or V8.
I have access to a set new that was bought for a V8, and are not going to be used. I'm wondering if they will be ok on a V6 application. Obviously the weight is different, and i know the car may not sit as low, but will they fit. Could i possibly have a machine shop grind a half inch off them maybe, too account for the height difference. Any help would be appreciated. thanx.

I wouldn't cut em. The only way to tell if they'll look right is to install em. Every spring manufacturer has different spring rates. I have sprint springs on my ride which will work for the V8 fbodies as well.

They will fit and will work alright if you just want inexpensive lowering springs. If you're thinking about cutting on any springs, I won't go further than saying just that. ;)

Thanx guys, i think i'll put in the rears first and see how it sits, if they need to go down a bit more, I can't see cutting a half inch or so out of them really effecting the ride quality that much. Thanx for the imput.
