• How come my wheels dont "chirp" when i burn out?

I have a 95 camaro 3.4, and good year eagle tires, every time my wheels spin instead of that nice high pitch chirp i hear a sort of skidding sliding accoss pavement sound. Why is this? is it my tires? I have never been able to make the chirp before

Depends on tires and power of the car. Also pavement type.

My tires were like that when they were new. Now they're screaching machines, which isn't exactly a good thing because now the tread isn't what it was. I'm through with burning out. Well, maybe one last time :D

Most likely it is the type of pavement you are doing it on. Look for nice slick pavement. No street pavement.
