• How low will V8 Sportline Springs drop my V6 Camaro?

This guy locally is going to sell me his Eibach Sportline for $150 BRAND NEW. But its made for a V8, will I get the estimaded drop on a V8 on my 2001 V6 Camaro? I have Eibach Pro-Kit 1.4" drop and most can't even tell the difference if its dropped or not. So that is why I am thinking of getting Sportlines.

if it's for the V8 you will not only notice NO drop, but may increase your ride height in the front ... V8's have a different spring rate.

Thats what I was afrad of. But how do V6 owns put Intrax Springs made for V8's on their car and still get the estimated drop? Cause I've read a few post where they mentioned they placed springs for V8's on their cars and it dropped just fine. Hmmmmmm?

You should contact Eibach and ask them what the difference in front springs for the v8 and v6 springs are.

Yeah, I might just do that. But then again if there is an uncertaintly about V8 Springs on V6 cars. I might just got with some SpringTech, heard those were pretty good springs. And will drop my car 1.75. But my question is, I have 1.4" Pro-Kit on my car now. Will I notice a drop from 1.4" to 1.75? It seems to be that 1.4" isn't enough and can't really tell. Even was told to drop my car when I actually already did
:(

The weight difference in the front of V8 and V6 aren't too much. Since the rear already has a bigger gap. Wouldn't getting V8 springs make it atleast close to enough height?

You will still get nearly a 2" drop. Sportline springs are too soft however for daily driving - stick with prokits or nothing from Eibach unless you have a show-V6
