I have a 1995 Firebird and I am trying to install the following wheels with Vette rims.
245/50/17 up front
275/40/18 in the back
I have taken them to two different shops and both can get the fronts on fine but when it comes to the backs the fitting just isn't right.
The tires rub against the bracket on the wheel well and there isn't enough space to get them on.
I suggested spacers and they didn't reccomend getting them since there was enough space already go get them on. And I also suggested the wheel adapters but with those the wheels would stick out and could chew up my paint job if I go over rocks.
I know alot of you guys have 275's on your cars which is why I got them. Can anyone help me out to get these things on and so that it will be safe to drive too. Thanks.
