basically my brakes suck. everytime i hit them they shake and are terrible. i want to replace all the rotors and pads.
what do you all recommend, i'm not looking for anything special. i just want to have good brakes and i'm not paying over 500 for the whole setup.

get baer eradispeed front rotors. they're the same size as stock, they weigh less, and look good too. they're about 450 fro the front pair. most of the shaking you're feeling is the front rotors being warped. I have had my rotors re-surfaced once already at about 12,000 miles, and they are starting to get bad again.
so basically all the shaking is coming from the front rotors. if that's the case then i'll make the front reall good and leave the rear stock. i'll get the back rotors turned and put new pads on them. how does this sound..

Since you're not looking at getting any 6 piston kits, I'd go w/ baer rotors all around since they're lighter, look better, are fairly cost effective, and provide better braking. For pads, i suggest EBC kevlar pads. good holding power, very little dust, also cost effective. Upgrade the back w/ the front. you will still need a good front/rear balance of braking. fixing the fronts up a lot may lead to oversteer conditions when braking.
It sounds like your rotors are warped. This can happen simply if the wheels re not torqued carefully, every time.
That gives you a couple of cheap options. It may be possible to turn your rotors. If not, and if you liked the brakes when the car was new, you could (oh, the horror of it!) just get stock replacement disks and premium pads.
And a good torque wrench. Don't let anyone else tighten your wheels.
