Many people who post questions here seem to know little about exactly what various handling mods do. The SLP package might be better for them (ie "worth it") than modding using a mixture of suggestions posted on the Internet by different people about what to do for different things (bars, springs, shocks, etc.).

Seppo,
Where did you see the kit for $550?
Fin,
What do you mean by the term "Boxed"? And you think I should get a rear sway bar..... Do our cars come with them stock? If not where would it connect?
Dom,
A lot of people seem to have an opinnion on this kit, what's your's?

Basically what FirebirdGT just said. It's a waste of money. Pick the parts you want and buy them seperately.

This might be true but if you don't really know what you're doing you're better off NOT modifying the suspension. Research in this catagory is invaluable for money savings, reliability, safety, and other important issues.
And I agree with FBGT, its not worth it.2002 5-spd NBM Camaro

Boy, do I ever agree with that!
But, based on many posts I've seen here, in a lot of cases (most?), it's just not gonna happen. People just want an easy answer from the net. :(

Is the stock front sway bar 30mm?
Is the stock rear sway bar 15mm?

Streetable is very subjective.
If you don't want to sacrifice the maximum potential of your suspension for the street then get either 1LE LCAs/PHR or rod ended LCAs/PHR.
You want to tune your shocks/springs according to the usual track prep and power. Some track hook some don't. Those that don't will need more rear end squat. i.e. softer springs and shocks. Big front sway bar is good for the street, but just weight for drag racing. Rear sway bar has not been proven to help/hurt in drag racing.

Well my track can hook really good i can dead hook a 1.7 60 foot right now so i was wondering i dont really care what noises and stuff it makes on the street i just want to make it drive able unlike when u take off the front sway bar it feels undriveable i could care less if suspension is really tight i want it nice for the track and just driveable on streetSICK-SIXX MEMBER
NA 14.345 with a 1.863 60 foot
Nitrous 13.03@99.5 with a 1.63 60 foot

2000 Camaro 3.8L A4: USE TO HAVE Comp Cam 210/220 .535/.547 113lsa 111 I/C, Port and Polished Heads, NX Wet Kit 100 Shot, CPRA made by CP, RK Sport Headers
