new use for STB found!

Well, the other night my fuel pump finally took a poop on me and left me stranded a half mile from my house. I didn't want to pay a tow truck to pull me the little ways and pushing it wasn't an option. So my dad came over with his truck and we were trying to figure out how to tow it home. The problem is with my car so low and with gfx's, there is nothing to hook onto to tow it. Then we popped the hood and boom, the STB stared us in the face.

It worked perfectly. we wrapped the strap around the STB and then lowered the hood till it rested on the latch. Pulled home without a problem. It was a good thing I had that STB on, lol. Towing it would have been like 50 bucks.

So there you have it, another reason to buy a STB. Works great for towing your car if you ever have to instead of paying for a tow truck to tow ya home.

on my 94 I pulled out my grills(didn't have foglights, just factory grills) and tied the rop through there to the bupper support to get my car pulled out of the mud.

just remember that STB is tied into your whole front suspension. I wounder if you could pull everything out of alignment?

not unless you like have a ton of slack and then really yank it. Anytime you are towing you just have to keep the tow rope tight.

I doubt it would mess with alignment though since it is pretty solid and there isn't anywhere to really go with it.
