  • Installed BMR boxed SFCs...

Well, after reading all of the positive things about SFCs, I had very, VERY high expectations for these. People have said stuff like, "OMFG!!! SFCs are t3h greatnessss!!!!", and that they experienced a HUGE change in handling.

My change in EVERYDAY handling was minimal. Sure, it felt a bit tighter over a few bumps here and there...but thats about it. Just turning and driving around, I can't say I can "feel" a difference.

Now, when driving fast and flipping the wheel for a hard turn, BIG DIFFERENCE! Tires do not seem to squeal, and I feel like I can get through the turn easier. But in everyday driving, I don't feel THAT much of a difference! A difference, yes, but not what I was expecting.

Could this be because I have a V6? I mean, if I had a Formula with the V8 suspension and whatnot, would that "work better" with the SFCs to give a more "tighter" feel? I've read such positive responces from V6 and V8 owners, but I don't know; I just don't feel the difference as much as they do.

our suspensions give us a decent ride quality compared to SS's and the like. That's why we won't feel as much change in normal driving quality. If we have 17" rims or bigger, stiffer swaybars, stiffer springs/shocks, then we'll feel more of a difference in normal ride quality.

3-point "Double Diamond" types (like mine) make a bigger difference than the two point type SFC's. ;)
