  • Grease Fittings for BMR LCA's

The directions say to grease the exterior surfaces and once everything is on the car to give the grease fitting "ONE" pump with a grease gun.

I'm just curious anyone know what would happen if you gave it three of four pumps? Would it matter?

its just going to ooze out of the bearings, then splatter all over stuff as your going down the road. not going to hurt anything. thats how you tell when machinery has enough grease, when it starts to push out.

I did 2 pumps, and nothing oozed out. I now have dirty grease on the rear poly fittings, which tells me that they're nice and greased up.

oops, guess i didn't read the instructions :D i pumped until i had grease coming out the sides on my bmr boxed lca's. (poly/poly) prolly like ~10 pumps each. that was like 2000 miles ago & i've had no problems...
