ok, so its not my car, but my buddy's 89 taurus. whenever you turn the wheel to the left on this car, it makes this annoying whining vibrating squeeling noise. it just keeps getting worse and worse. i thought it sounded like it was coming from down by the weel, but when i listened it was coming from the powersteering pump. it would shake pretty good also. fluid levels are full, but i dont know the last time they were changed out. would a flush of the system and new fluid fix this, or is the pump doomed to a terrible firery explosion. any ideas? it sounds like it also might be coming from the wheel too.
