For our cars. Nitto's, BFG's, ET Streets, etc., etc.
I want something that will hook adequately, but I'm not looking for a 1.6 60' time. I don't have an aftermarket converter, and my dry nitrous comes in slowly enough that it is not all the way on until I'm already out of the hole. So I'm not torqueing the heck out of them out of the hole, I just want to flash the converter from idle and move on out.
I ran some ET Streets this past weekend, and got 1.8x's on them with a minimal burnout. That would be fine.
Except, I want to keep as much top end mph as possible, so something that doesn't hurt mph.
Tire life is not an issue, since whatever I get, I will put on the car when I get to the track. So something with no tread and really soft would probably be fine.
Those tires I tried last weekend were 11" wide, I could probably get by with 9.5-10" wide.
Little or no burnout required, would be a plus. I'd like to pull a killer et, and not even have done a burnout... The surprise factor... :D
